Minimalist Tiki

I'll start with the only thing that disappointed me: I wish that in addition to the modern spins on the classic cocktails that they had also kept the original versions that were in earlier editions of this book.

That's it, I really loved everything else.

As someone who is new to the whole... thing... I really welcomed the guided breakdowns and the approach to building up both your knowledge and the (eventual) absurd amount of ingredients you will want. By starting with the least you can start making something excellent right away and get some confidence in your creations!

This is suck a beautiful book and is so much nicer than expected. I love that it is not just recipes but also includes history and general tips/tricks for making the best Tiki drinks. I already have Post It notes in half of the book!

I found there to be lots of great new tiki recipes in here that I hadn't seen before. So far the ones I have tried have been very tasty. There is also a lot of great information on making cocktails in geneal, as well as different kinds of rum and how they are made. Definitely worth the money!
