Great cocktail book with fantastic recipes that are easy to follow and accessible ingredients. Definitely one to add to the tiki and exotic cocktail shelf

I love every recipe in this book. It is quintessential for a tiki lover. The recipes are easy to make and it explains exactly what products to purchase for each recipe. Very cool book. Love it.

This beautiful book complete with pictures and easy to execute recipes is a must have staple for any Home Tiki Bar. Lot of diversity using easily accessible ingredients. Other Tiki cocktail books will inevitably include some outlandish, hard to find ingredients, but not this one! Lots of favorites in this as well as some unique ones. Highly recommended.

I mean, it is how every cocktail book should be laid out. 5 drinks in and not a stinker, yet. Justin is skilled at his craft.

A book of fantastic cocktails beautifully illustrated. Has a reference page so you can look up any ingredient and be sent to a drink page with that ingredient. Some great new drinks. Very pleased

Great looking book! I hope you put out a book someday only about creating your own cocktails. There isn’t enough content about that specific topic.

I first encountered Wonk Press through Matt Pietrick and Carrie Smith's fantastic "Minimalist Tiki" book, breaking down the complexities and "secret" ingredients into the building blocks. "Modern Caribbean Rum" and "Polynesiacs" were the natural next steps, and now they've released Justin Wojslaw's "Coconuts & Carnage". WOW! So many incredible recipes packed into such a small book. I've made 4 drinks already, and they're all so balanced, nuanced and delicious. Can't wait to make more, and highly recommend!

This book holds a place on my shelf with the best of them. I love tiki and have mixed up most everything in the Beachbum Berry's as well as the Smugglers Cove publications. Excellent original tiki cocktails that are relatively easy to make.

Definitely one of the better tiki recipe books out there!

Great content, inspiring recipes, beautiful layout. I wouldn’t mind more “background insights” and other info, but on the other hand the recipes are great as they are.

It's a no-nonsense approach that dives directly into the recipes. I like that most recipes don't need super arcane ingredients but are doable on a thursday night after work.
I hope Wonk Press will do more books like this, maybe with Jason Alexander.

The book is hands down presented wonderfully. The pics are perfectly balanced without color saturation. The recipes are unparalleled and the binding is flawless for a paperback book. My only suggestion is to offer a hardback edition. I would buy the hardback as a library edition and use the paperback in the bar.

Coconuts & Carnage is a great read for someone already familiar with the Tiki world, just inventive recipes, no nonsense.

Excellent book.

50 recipes. They all look very approachable, not too many crazy or exotic ingredients. And while the recipes use some fairly common Tiki ingredients, many are in unusual combinations. Nice compact size, thorough indexes, and beautiful photography.

I was excited to have a new selection of Tiki recipes to peruse, and Coconuts & Carnage did not disappoint. In fact, I just purchased a bottle of mezcal because there were a couple recipes requiring it that look really good. The recipes are approachable, photography is excellent, and the overall design of the book is pleasing. For those who are already familiar with the basics, this would be an excellent addition to your cocktail/Tiki library.

This is a great, super quick reference when you are tending bar and say “What would you like?”. Thank you!!!
